Description of Tender

1. Documents available during working hours as from 14th October 2025.

3. Telegraphic, telephonic, facsimile, and late tenders will not be accepted.
4. Bids may only be submitted on the bid documentation issued.
5. False Bay TVET College retains the right not to accept the lowest, highest or any bid, or to accept part or whole of any bid.
6. Bids will be advertised on the 80/20 preference points system whereby the 80 points will be allocated for price and the 20 will be allocated for specific goals.

In order to ensure transparency and a competitive process, False Bay TVET College invites all prospective suppliers and service providers to apply for registration on the False Bay TVET College database, to be used by the Supply Chain Management department to procure various commodities and services.

The purpose of this database is to give all prospective suppliers an equal opportunity to submit quotations.

False Bay TVET College is committed to the provisions of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act 5 of 2000 (Act .No 5 of 2000) and its Regulation 2022; the Public Finance Management Act 29 of 1999; and the Supply Chain Management Framework Act.

Existing registered service providers are requested to update their company details annually.

NOTE:

  1. Blacklisted companies appearing on the National Treasury database and that are prohibited from conducting business with public entities, shall not be considered.
  2. Responding to this invitation does not mean an automatic registration with False Bay TVET College.
  3. Only ORIGINAL registration forms will be accepted. It is imperative that suppliers read the application carefully, complete it in full, sign it and attach the required documentation.
