From False Bay to Thailand: Natalie’s Journey of Faith, Growth, and Purpose

Natalie’s journey in education began with a simple yet powerful goal to gain practical skills that would help her build a meaningful career in Early Childhood Education. Inspired by her passion for working with young children and her belief that the foundation of learning begins in the early years, she chose to study Educare N6 at False Bay TVET College.

False Bay appealed to Natalie because of its career-focused and hands-on training, which prepared her directly for the workplace. Her experience at the College was a journey of growth, challenges, and discovery. She fondly remembers her dedicated lecturers who truly cared about students’ success and the strong friendships she built along the way friendships that turned into a support system through every exam and assignment.

Natalie’s path was not without obstacles. She faced financial difficulties, tight deadlines, and moments of self-doubt, especially during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. But through faith, perseverance, and determination, she developed resilience and time management skills that shaped her both personally and professionally.

Her practical experiences from assisting at an adult learning centre to volunteering at a primary school and completing her Educare internship helped her discover her calling as an educator. She later opened her own Early Childhood development business, which flourished and strengthened her leadership skills.

Today, Natalie is proudly teaching in Thailand, working with both primary and high school learners. Her journey reflects courage, faith, and purpose. She continues to inspire others by reminding them to seek God first, stay focused, never stop learning, and believe in the abilities He has placed within you.
