On 11 September 2026, False Bay TVET College joined African Bank, Abalimi Bezekhaya and Crestway High School in Retreat for the launch of a meaningful vegetable garden initiative focused on sustainability, learner well-being and community development.

On 28 July 2026, False Bay TVET College welcomed representatives from KfW Development Bank and the National Business Initiative (NBI) to our Westlake and Khayelitsha Campuses for an engagement focused on innovation, entrepreneurship and skills development.

The visit showcased the College’s programme offerings, the work of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubator (CfERI), engagements with MSMEs and incubatees, and the vision for the planned Entrepreneurship Hub at Khayelitsha Campus — a sustainable space aimed at empowering students and the surrounding community.

The day featured an exciting 5-a-side tournament, an exhibition match between False Bay TVET College and Zeekoevlei High School, a Market Day and a raffle draw.
