Conference Venue Update

We offer bespoke menus to suit all budgets and individual specifications – without ever compromising on quality. The False Bay Conference Centre has a selection of catering options available, as no catering may be brought onto the premises. Please note, menus may change to reflect the availability of the freshest seasonal ingredients. Our kitchens are Halaal-friendly as a minimum standard. You may also enquire about our delicious menu options for your convenience.

Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements and we will endeavour to meet them. All food and beverage arrangements are to be made on the venue booking form.

A booking will only be secured once confirmation has been provided by the Conference Manager that the venue is available, the full venue hire is paid, and the Conference Manager has confirmed receipt of payment.

The fees charged for venue hire will act as a safety deposit. The initial number of guests, catering requirements and outstanding payments are to be confirmed seven (7) working days prior to the event taking place. Failure to do so will cause the event to be cancelled with no refund.

In booking the venue, a copy of the signed contract and proof of payment must be sent to the Conference Manager. (FBCconference@falsebay.org.za).

Hiring fees will be charged according to the number of guests/delegates confirmation seven (7) working days before the event. In confirming a conference reservation, a Pro-Forma Invoice will be sent to the client from False Bay College Central Office, Finance Department.

Any additional charges that may occur during the event must to be settled on the day of the event with cash or card. The False Bay College Conference Centre does not allow any debtors, unless agreed upon in writing prior to the event. A compulsory 10% service fee will be charged on the total food bill for all bookings of 20 or more people.

The False Bay College Conference Centre reserves the right to cancel any booking forthwith and without liability on our part in the event of any damage to, or destruction of the allocated function venues by hire, vis major (acts of God) such as any natural disasters, any shortage of labour or food supplies (beyond our control), strikes, riots, lockouts, viral outbreaks and industrial unrest, or any other causes beyond our control which prevents us from performing our obligations in connection with any booking.

The False Bay College Conference Centre will not be responsible or held liable for any loss, damage and/or injury resulting from any cause whatsoever.
