False Bay College, Muizenberg Campus has embarked on an initiative to increase its relations with the general public in the areas surrounding its campus.  In so doing we are ensuring that a healthy business and professional relationship is enjoyed with the community of Muizenberg.  The events we assist in provide a platform for us to market the college and the hospitality studies programme.


Moving Currents in the Electrical Department.

Deploying technology in teaching and learning is shaping a new path for the Electrical Infrastructure Construction (EIC) Department of False Bay College.

Lecturers in the Department are busy with Blackboard training in order to enhance the students learning experience. Not the traditional blackboards long used in classrooms, but rather an integrative e-learning management system.


Minister Blade Nzimande takes Career Guidance Services to the Community of Mitchells Plain and Khayelitsha

The Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr. Blade Nzimande, MP, hosted a Career Expo on Wednesday, 23 April 2014, at the False Bay College Mitchell’s Plain Campus.

The event targeted learners and youth from Mitchells Plain and the Khayelitsha community, who have not had access to education or employment opportunities.


Using Mimio Interactive Whiteboard as a Tool to Enhance Classroom Delivery

The deployment of technology in the classroom has improved dramatically at False Bay College over the past few years with the use of the Mimio Interactive Whiteboard.  

It is a programme that can be used as an effective tool to enhance classroom delivery in subjects that are at risk, such as mathematics and mathematical literacy.
