 The following programme offerings are a collaboration between the College and various members of industry. The entry requirements are determined by the industry stakeholder, including the application deadline.

FREE TRAINING: ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN NQF L4.

False Bay TVET College with the Accounting Technicians South Africa (SAICA) want to help you find your dream career in finance.
The course content includes: Accounts preparation, cost and revenue, cash management, indirect tax, ethics, spreadsheet software and more.
Stipend available

 APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 with Maths/ Maths Literacy and Accounting
- Must be able to attend classes full-time for a 12 months

Unemployed youth between 18-35 years are invited to apply for this programme. Preference will be given to matriculants.
The course content includes: Computer and online essentials, Word Processing and Spreadsheet.

Programme: WCED Youth Focus Programmes: Spray Painting, Panel Beating and Hospitality
Description:

The Western Cape Education Department has partnered with False Bay TVET College to roll out the Youth Focus Programme.  This intervention is targetted towards Grade 10 learners who are struggling with the mainstream schooling curriculum and run the risk of not progressing to the next grade.

This is a 3 year programme. Each of the 3 levels will consist of an average of 3 months theory and 9 months practical experience in the workplace. Upon the completion of the programme and passing of each Level Test learners will receive their qualification, deemed fit for immediate permanent employment.

How to repair structural damage: dents and rust on vehicles

Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will be qualified and able to find employment within the automotive repair industry.

How to restore surface damage: spray painting, polishing and finishing
Remove, replace and align minor body parts

Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will be qualified and able to find employment as a Spray painter.

Hospitality:

Hotel Reception
Generic essentials such as personal health, hygiene and workplace safety
Customer Service

Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will be able to find employment in the Hospitality Industry.


Programme: NSF: Solar Water Heating System
Description:

False Bay TVET College in partnership with the National Skills Fund invite unemployed youth between the age of 18-35 with a Grade 11 or 12 certificate to apply. The programme will take 10 weeks to complete and you will have the necessary skills and knowledge to instal solar water heating systems.

Entry Requirements:

Grade 11 or 12
Umemployed as you would need to start training immediately
Between 18-35 years of age

 Good News! False Bay TVET College now offers a one year full time  2D Animation programme that is fully funded. This programme is offered at the Muizenberg Campus. Programme:  POLISH UP YOUR MICROSOFT EXCEL SKILLS
Description:

False Bay TVET College in partnership with InSETA invite unemployed youth between 18-35 years of age, who are fluent in English and have a professional appearance to apply for this 1 week programme, starting 08 January - 12 January 2018.
If you meet the criteria, you will receive a stipend of R400 for the week. Lunch will be provided
