False Bay College

The annual Kite Festival – now in its 23rd year – offers a range of fantastic family fun activities in aid of a very good cause.

Each year, organisers Cape Mental Health relies on the participation and support of the community to ensure the Kite Festival is a success. All profits go towards helping Cape Mental Health provide vital services to adults and children in resource-poor communities.

Volunteers are required to assist and support in crowd control, parking, activity zones and general work, like litter patrol.  We appreciate you volunteering your time to help this wonderful case.

Kindly note that only employees of False Bay TVET College may register as volunteers. As a volunteer you will receive free access to the festival, a meal voucher and certificate of thanks for your contribution.

Friends and family are required to pay to enter.  Tickets may be purchased at the gate or online at the following rates:  Adults are R40 and kids (12 years and under) R15.

There will be a volunteer information sharing session on 19 October.  Details of this meeting will be shared once confirmed.
